What is coding?
Coding is writing the instructions, or programs, for computers to follow. This is done using programming languages. There are many, many languages, but we focus on three that are central to websites and games: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
In these languages, students plan the steps involved for programs, games, and websites to function, and write them out in lines of code. This strengthening of logical and computational thinking helps prepare students for jobs of the future. Not only are there excellent jobs in computer science, but nearly every business is adding digital dimensions, or competing with those who do.
